Classes

Thanks to all the support from my family, friends, and fans I’ve decided to start teaching classes!  I’ll be hosting my classes at the state-of-the-art commercial kitchen in the Manassas Park Community Center.

Class 1
Class Dates: 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8
Cost: $70 for all four classes
Time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

In this class we will cover the basics from baking from scratch.
The class will start off easy on 1/18 with making and decorating sugar cookies to assess the skill level of the class.
The second session on 1/25 students will work with quick sweet dough and learn how to make cinnamon rolls and sticky buns.
The third session on 2/1 we will work on making a special treat for Valentine’s Day: Biscotti, ganache for dipping, and simple chocolate showpieces for displaying your biscotti.
The class will end on 2/8 with the basics of cake decorating where students will bake and decorate a cake from scratch (including the icing).  The cake will be baked during the second or third session and frozen then on the fourth session students will make Chocolate Swiss Buttercream icing from scratch and then immediately decorate their cakes.

All equipment and ingredients will be provided by the community center.  All you need to bring is a positive attitude and a curious mind!
